Welcome to the story behind Little Fork Coffee Co., where every sip comes with a side of family history and a dash of adventure. Picture this: summers and hunting seasons spent with my grandparents in the wilds of West Virginia. No cell service, no electricity – just us, the forest, and a whole lot of memories in the making. We'd camp out in the middle of nowhere, cooking over crackling campfires, bathing in the creek, and swapping ghost stories under the stars. And let me tell you, my Grandma's hazelnut coffee was the stuff of legends. As I got older, my love for our little slice of paradise never went away. But as my grandparents grew older, they couldn't join in our trips anymore. So, Little Fork Coffee Co. was born – a way to keep our family traditions alive and share them with folks like you. You're not just a customer; you're part of the family now. And we hope that with every sip of our coffee, you'll feel that connection and maybe even start making memories of your own around the campfire.
In the rush of everyday life, it's easy to forget the simple joys of spending time with loved ones. But here at Little Fork Coffee Co., we're on a mission to bring back those moments of togetherness – the kind that leave you with a warm heart and a belly full of laughter. Because let's face it, life is fleeting, and before you know it, all you'll have left are memories. We want to inspire you to grab your friends, gather your family, and head out into the great outdoors. Whether it's camping in the woods, fishing by the lake, or simply sharing stories around a campfire, these are the moments that truly matter. So put down your phones, step away from the screens, and immerse yourself in the beauty of nature and the company of those you hold dear. Because in the end, it's not about the things you have – it's about the memories you make and the love you share.
Yep, that's me – the guy behind the coffee beans. I'm from Oceana, West Virginia, and my love affair with coffee started when I was practically still in diapers, thanks to Grandma Pooch. When I'm not busy brewing up new blends, you'll find me out hunting, fishing, golfing, or just hanging out with my crew.
During the 2023 rifle season (in this picture), my dad, littlest sister, and I decided to team up for a hunting expedition. It was Hannah's first time ever rifle hunting, and let's just say, we were more successful in creating memories than bagging game. With Hannah's infectious giggles and Dad's thunderous snores (seriously, the man could wake the dead), we spent more time laughing than hunting. Despite the lack of deer sightings, it was an unforgettable experience that reminded us of the importance of family, laughter, and shared adventures. We wish every family could experience moments like these – the kind that leave you with aching sides and tears in your eyes.
My grandparents, Roger and Pooch, were the OG camping buddies. They are from Sugar Grove, West Virginia and they knew how to whip up a mean trout dinner. We spent summers catching fish, swapping stories, and basically living our best lives in the great outdoors.
Roger, with his knack for tall tales, could make the woods come alive with just his words, while Grandma Pooch's secret trout recipe remains locked away forever and ever. Their laughter echoed through the trees, and their love for each other and for our little adventures was the glue that held us all together.
Now, let's talk about the real star of the show – Little Fork. Nobody knows why it's called that, but who cares when it's this awesome? It started as our family's secret getaway but soon became a hangout spot for our closest friends. We'd spend weekends planting food plots, setting up cameras, and gearing up for rifle season – our favorite time of year. Little Fork isn't just a piece of land; it's a treasure trove of memories waiting to be made. And at Little Fork Coffee Co., we're all about sharing those memories, one cup of joe at a time. So grab a mug, call up your buddies, kick back, and let's toast to the past, present, and all the adventures still to come.
